Spokesperson: Shri Jairam Ramesh: He said that our Presidents, CLP leaders, office-bearers of AICC, Presidents of our frontal organizations (About 100 people) were present today, here at number 24 Akbar Road. The Congress Party held talks on what should be the political process after the disqualification of Shri Rahul Gandhi. There was no discussion on legal steps, although our spokesperson, well-known lawyer Abhishek Singhvi ji informed all the comrades of what steps will be taken legally. Also, Abhishek Singhvi ji also held a press conference on that today.

So, for 2 hours, the discussion was held not on the legal process but on what steps should be taken from the organization’s side. Many suggestions came. We will take this issue across the country that Shri Rahul Gandhi has been deliberately disqualified because since 2014,he has been raising his voice against the intentions of the government and the policies of the Modi government.

The second reason is that the Bhartiya Janata Party was nervous and in trouble due to the success of the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Many attempts were made during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ to defame Rahul Gandhi Ji, but all in vain. ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ was not an event, it became a movement.

The third important reason for which Rahul Gandhi ji was deliberately targeted is because he has been raising his voice continuously and especially from February 07 inside the Parliament on Adani scam.

It has run at a higher speed even than the bullet train. Rahul Gandhi Ji’s speech on February 07, after 9 days the complainant withdraws his stay, hearing starts on February 27, judgment is reserved on March 17 and decision of conviction on March 23, decision of disqualification all so fast.
