Modi Govt. remains a mute spectator to Chinese transgressions and illegal occupation

Spokespersons: Shri Gaurav Gogoi and Shri Pawan Khera: Shri Gaurav Gogoi said I have come from the Parliament, where our Defense-Minister presented the government’s side, but he left from there without taking any questions, and he ran away from the responsibility of giving details about this important incident in front of the country.

As we know that on December 9, 2022, the Chinese army conspired to enter the Indian border; In which the brave soldiers of our Indian Army guarded our border with great strength and courage. So, first of all, I would like to express my gratitude to those brave soldiers of our army on behalf of our country and tell them that - The country is supporting our army and the Congress Party is also with our army.

But where we have expressed support with our army, I feel that there are many flaws in the attitude of the BJP government. It is our responsibility to expose those flaws. What are the flaws-BJP is deliberately hiding and obfuscating the facts on the ground from the people of India and because of that, today we have seen in this House, that the Defense-Minister Rajnath Singh has confessed that China has occupied thousands of square kilometers of the area which is inside our Indian border. This statement has been given by the Defense-Minister himself in the House and the Home Minister says that we will not give even an inch. Why is this kind of double-faced message? Why don’t you reveal the truth to our various political parties, who have the right to raise questions from you, ask for information from you, ask for information about what is happening on the border?

The information we get through the media is that our farmers in Ladakh are saying that where they used to take their goats for grazing earlier, they are not able to go to those areas now. Elected Councillors are saying that where we used to go earlier, we had freedom, there is no freedom today. Why doesn’t the government want to disclose and explain these things?
