‘Crowd Funding’, which was started by Congress President Kharge ji on December 18, today we are going to add a new chapter in it, which will be considered as a historic chapter for our ‘Crowd Funding’ - Donate for Justice -and Donate for Justice started at 11 o’clock this morning. ‘Donate for Justice’ campaign has started on our website ‘donateinc.in’ and you will be happy to know that Rahul Gandhi ji, who is walking for 6,700 km ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, we have been telling people at every kilometer to make an offering to this yatra of Rahul Gandhi ji as per their individual capacity. In this, those who can pay less, will pay even one paisa per kilometer, which will amount to Rs. 67. If a person with a little more ability gives 10 paise, then he can give 670 rupees.

We have generated two crore rupees in two hours and before that about Rs. 17 crores were donated by Congress sympathizers from the people within the country in ‘Donate for Country’ and we hope that today we will cross the figure of around Rs. 20 crores. In the Nyay Yatra, in this Yatra of Rahul Gandhi ji, we thank our friends who have come from nearby states and these departments for making sacrifices as justice warriors in this Yagya and all these people have given Rs. 20 per kilometer to Rs. 100 per kilometer to Rahul ji. That means, ranging from Rs. 1 lakh 34 thousand to Rs. 6 lakh 70 thousand, these friends have donated by coming here to AICC. Because of which, today these friends of ours have given us Rs. 2 crores within two hours.

One new thing in our campaign is that we will gift a T-shirt signed by Shri Rahul Gandhi to anyone who donates Rs. 670 or more. Along with this, those who donate Rs. 67 thousand or more will get a kit as a gift. Inside that kit, there will be this T-shirt, this bag will also be there and inside it there will be this badge, this wrist band and this sticker will also be there and it will be given by AICC.

Second, there is a new thing that we are starting. Whoever donates anything will be given a personally signed letter from Rahul ji in his personal name and it will be generated at the same time, a signed letter from Rahul ji, in Hindi or English as per his/her choice will be given to that person and this is a signed letter of Rahul ji, which will be given personally in the name of that person and along with a certificate of donation which has a signed certificate of Kharge ji, KC Venugopal ji and me, as Treasurer, will also be generated at the same time and will be received at the same time.

Like we had said that this is a campaign, the purpose of which is not only to collect money, but also to do political mobilization, to create enthusiasm among the people, to fill the enthusiasm among the Congress workers and the Yagya that Rahul ji is doing in a way will spread across the country. Its purpose is to reach the core of the country and become a part of it.

Within this website, we have kept a separate section in this form, ‘Referred by’, to give information about who has referred or motivated you to contribute. In the last campaign we had given, many people used to say that we are working hard, we are going door-to-door, but we should also be recognized in a way that we got collections from ten people, we got one thousand rupees donated. If you donate money, then there is a ‘Referred By’ column in each one, through which the person is donating the money or the one who has motivated, only the phone number of the person has to be given. On that basis, we will post the top five referees, nation wise and state wise, on our website so that the names of the top five people, who have motivated people to donate, appear together.

You must have seen that last time we used to give the state wise list from top to bottom from which state the maximum number of donors have come and also in numbers, there was a drop down of how many donors have come in number and how many donors have come in rupee terms. Now, along with this, we have also included in it to give information about how many people have motivated the most, who is the top referee, who has motivated the most people, so that people are motivated, those who are working hard, there should be recognition. We have also included this together.
