Nyay Pad Yatra and Memorandum to District Collector

New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Ch. Anil Kumar said on March 08, 2022, that under the Arvind Government the women of Delhi feel the most harassed, alienated and neglected.

Addressing DCC conventions at Krishna Nagar and Babarpur, Ch. Anil Kumar said that the Arvind Government provided no financial incentives to housewives during Covid-19 deaths and destruction. He has ironically stopped widow pension in Delhi, has denied them ration cards, and flats under the in-situ scheme for the resettlement of those living in JJ clusters.

He added that Chief Minister Arvind has not bothered to give representation to a woman legislator in his Cabinet, and as a result, women rarely get justice and fair deal. He said that thousands of women ad hoc teachers, Anganwadi workers/helpers, nurses and doctors have been protesting for the past many weeks, demanding hike in wages, clearance of arrears, and regularization of jobs, but Chief Minister has not bothered to even meet them, though the protests have been happening outside his residence.

Besides Ch. Anil Kumar, prominent others who attended the District Conventions were former PCC president Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely, former Delhi Minister Dr. Narender Nath, DPCC Communication Department Chairman and Ex MLA Anil Bhardwaj, Ex MLAs Vipin Sharma, Naseeb Singh, Bheesham Sharma, DPMC President Amrita Dhawan, Sandeep Goswami, Varyam Kaur, Anuj Attrey, Rajesh Garg, Kailash Jain, Abjit Singh Gulati, Raj Kumar Indoria, Nikita Chaturvedi, Shivam Bhagat, Haji Zarif, Ch.
