Babu Jagjivan Ram’s 30th Death anniversary held
Ara: On the 30th death anniversary of the former Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram, held on 7th July, 2016 by different organizations, his daughter and ex-Speaker Dr. Meira Kumar said that Babu ji always wished for a caste-less and homogeneous society.
The function was presided over by the secretary of the library, Vijay Kumar Singh and was presented by Prof. Ranvijay Kumar Singh.
District Congress office, located at Shahid Bhawan hosted the condolence meeting held under the presidentship of Manoj Kumar. District president described Babu Jagjivan Ram as the inspiration of equal standing of all castes in the society. This function was presented by Panna Kumar Tripathy and thanks giving was done by Seva Dal’s chief organizer Dev Kumar Singh. On this occasion Dr. Ayodhya Singh, Tirthnath Dube, Lal Sharan Singh and hundreds of workers were present.
Bhojpur District Kisan and Khet Majdoor Congress organized a condolence meeting at Bindeshwari Dube Smarak complex. District Congress Convener Shiv Shankar Choube preised over the meeting. In this function, Baban Pandey, Prof. Arun Singh and former State president Pramod Rai was also present. Presentation by Mohan Dube and thanks giving was done by Madan Mohan Tiwari. In this occasion all the frontal organization and hundreds of workers of the Congress Party participated.
